One of the things that came up during my visit to NC yesterday is that a lot of families believe their temporary shelter assistance has expired. That’s actually not true. If you’re in Western NC, this assistance has been extended. The list of cooperating hotels can be found at http://femaemergencyhotels.com To use that hotel locator, you need your registration number. If you live in Western NC and forgot your number, please call 800-621-3362.
