This spot at Harris Middle School out in Spruce Pines has almost nobody here and they have been offering 250 cots, hot private showers, laundry, 3 hot catered meals/day, rec area, and pets permitted for over a month now. If you or someone you know needs rest and a place to live for a while send them here – they have everything. As of now they will be here at least until November 25th unless more people arrive to give them cause to stay. They are not FEMA or Red Cross. Very kind people.
